Withdrawal policy
How withdrawal requests are made, verified, processed, and paid. This policy matches the published withdrawal methods, and using the platform means accepting it as written.
1. Introduction
This policy explains the rules for withdrawing funds from a Nuvaultance account. By requesting a withdrawal you accept these terms. The policy exists to make payouts predictable for you and to protect accounts from unauthorized access at the same time.
2. Available withdrawal methods
Withdrawals are paid by bank transfer (EFT) to a verified Canadian account, by Interac e-Transfer, to Visa or Mastercard cards used for funding where the issuer supports payouts, to the PayPal account used for funding, or to an external digital-asset address you control. Payouts go to destinations in your own name; third-party destinations are not processed.
3. Processing times
Requests entered before 15:00 ET on a business day start processing the same day. Bank transfers normally complete within 1 to 3 business days, card payouts within 1 to 5 business days depending on the issuer, and PayPal and e-Transfer payouts usually within 24 hours of approval. Verification reviews can add time, and we tell you when they do.
4. Fees and costs
Nuvaultance charges no platform fee for withdrawals by any published method. Costs that can arise are third-party: card issuer fees, wallet or network fees on external digital-asset transfers, and conversion costs when the payout currency differs from the account currency. Any applicable amount is shown for confirmation before a request is submitted.
5. Withdrawal limits
The minimum withdrawal is CAD 50. Daily and monthly limits follow your tier and verification level and are stated in the account before you fund. Limits can be raised after identity verification and, for larger amounts, source-of-funds confirmation under the AML/KYC policy.
6. KYC / AML checks
Identity must be verified before any payout. Withdrawals can trigger additional checks, including confirmation that the destination is in your name and, where amounts are inconsistent with the profile, evidence of the source of funds. These checks are a legal requirement and a protection, not an obstacle.
7. Reasons for delay or refusal
A request can be delayed or refused when the destination details do not match verified records, documents are missing or unclear, additional AML review applies, the account is under an unresolved complaint or investigation, a security flag requires identity re-confirmation, or a technical or regulatory restriction blocks the rail. Every delay or refusal is communicated with the reason and what would resolve it.
8. User responsibility
Account numbers, card details, wallet addresses, and e-Transfer registration details must be entered carefully and kept current. Funds sent to wrong details provided by you may be unrecoverable, and recovery attempts, where possible, pass through the receiving institution's processes and timelines. Verify the details on the confirmation screen before submitting.
9. Cancelling or changing a request
A pending request can be cancelled or amended from the account while its status is Submitted. Once processing starts, cancellation is no longer possible, and the payout completes as submitted. If something is wrong after that point, contact support immediately with the request reference.
10. Support
Withdrawal questions are answered by Client Support and Compliance at [email protected], with a first reply usually within one business hour. Every request has a reference number; quoting it makes the answer faster.
11. Policy updates
This policy can change as methods, limits, or legal requirements change. The current version is always this page, material changes are announced in the account, and continued use of the platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
A withdrawal, walked through
A concrete example makes the policy easier to picture. Suppose you request CAD 2,000 by bank transfer on a Tuesday at 10:00 ET, with a verified account and no flags. The request enters as Submitted and can be cancelled or edited at that stage. Automated checks confirm the destination account is in your name and matches the verified details; nothing anomalous appears, so approval follows the same day. Your bank receives the transfer, and the funds appear on Thursday, one to three business days later, with the exact timing set by your institution's batch schedule.
Now suppose the same request is made one week after you changed your address and have not yet updated your documents. The mismatch between the profile and the verified record pauses the request at verification, a standard protection rather than a judgment about you. Support tells you which document is needed, the request resumes once it clears, and the processing clock restarts from that point. Frustrating, perhaps, but it is the same check that would stop a fraudster who knew your password.
The pattern generalizes: most delays trace to one of three causes, a document question, an amount that triggers additional review, or destination details that do not match. All three are resolved by information, not negotiation, and the fastest path is always to answer the specific question support asks rather than resubmitting the request.
